OB will not be fired by Japan no matter what. He is a lifer. He has been with Eisai since the beginning in the US. He has been promoted by Japan so many times over the years to the position he is in now that firing him would be the Japanese management/hierarchy admitting to a colossal mistake. I think maybe the Japanese culture of "not losing face" may be at play here. Either that or he has some compromising photos of the CEO stashed away somewhere.
Bottom line, we are stuck with this loser. The only way to escape his insipid voicemails and PC centric attitude is to find another job somewhere else. Unfortunately, for us easier said than done in today's market.
