Let's conduct the poll: who is happy at Amgen













What would make me happy at Amgen: 1.) Uphold the Amgen values: the current mentality is driven by fear; if you make one minor human error, you AND your manager could be terminated and this is coming from our senior vp...really?? Does that support a conducive and productive work environment, I think not... 2.) Work Life Balance: right now there isn't any, if you have to stay late for a meeting or stay several hours past the end of your shift to complete work (which another shift is more then capable of completing) it is expected that you stay, regardless of your personal life, and this happens on a regular basis. 3.) If we have 2 fifteen minute breaks and 1 half-hour break, why can we not combine them?? Combining the break times increases productivity and revives the worker, allowing for a more efficient work environment. Stopping and starting again is not productive and most processes take several hours to complete so taking breaks can not even happen.... If we could fix these things, I and I know many other people would be MUCH HAPPY... Other than that, I am quite thankful for my job.

Me and the rest of the sales people are tired of this minimum wage, hourly crap that you spew all the time. RI this, Colorado that, post it where it belongs. If you can't do this right, what else are you doing wrong.

Wow...you must be a great sales rep with that attitude...it seems to me you're getting exactly what you deserve! Perhaps you should look into some professional help, anger management classes...it could help!
