I think they should've let the majority of Ista reps fly, retrain Bausch reps on bromday/bepreve-I thought the od reps were bad! Ista also! Trashy and complain complain complain!

Btw-you must be from Ista-why? Because your complaining! get another job! There are so many good people let go, unemployed.

I agree and I'm a former Ista rep. Before any Ista reps knew their fate they would have given up their first child to be assured a job. Now that they were retained it's all complaining. I'm sick of it. Find another job already.
 






ISTA reps were just used to a better environment than what B+L is giving them. That's why they are complaining so much- they are realizing that the rumors were true and B+L is a horrible place to work.

Why don't you quit your 6 figure job and go to work for one of your docs offices as an admin person for minimum wage and sit on your a** all day. That's paperwork my friend!

I would also bet your an obama supporter-because you obviously think you should get paid for doing very little. Get a life! So many people would love to be in your shoes!
 






I assure you that no one at B&L will bat an eye at any resignations. In fact, there will be over 100 resumes for your position the next day. No one will be asking you to stay.

Most ISTA reps just keep their mouths shut and only talk among themselves. Most are actively looking. B&L is not an employee friendly place to work, at least in sales. I guess that is to be expected when the strings are pulled by a detached investment firm only interested in their ROI.

It's going to be interesting to watch the BL executive team explain to the Board how they made less money with Bepreve and Bromday in 2012 and 2013 than ISTA did in 2011. WP will finally realize they have an inept team in place at the higher levels.
 






Face it ISTA reps are just from a higher professional plain than B+L reps. Dress, mannerisms, much more refined, better shoes, handbags, knowledge of the pharma business etc. It is just hard to fit in with B+L people as they make looks at you like your trying to steal their husbands.

Classy is only considered trashy by those that don't meet our standards.

force has been flipped 200% in 5 years. Longest tenured rep in field sales is probably 5 years, maybe 1 or 2 people longer than that. Most territories have been turned 3 or 4 times in 5 years.

I totally agree. They are all me too products. The B&L folks are too conservative while the ISTA reps are too loose. Neither are as good as what Alcon or Allergan have. The biggest mistake B&L made was firing 50% of the TMs, 75% of the DMs, and 80% of the RDs, with their departures the relationships are gone. In each market where there is a new B&L person the share is actually decreasing overall. You add to the fact that the current B&L marketing team has literally no experience with the brands or the specialties it will not bode well moving forward. Of the top 10 RXers for Bromday 30% have already left to go back to Nevanac, and with the departure of Andy Chang expect more to follow.

b&l is the revolving door of ophthalmic sales. didn't use to be that way, but ever since perry and his merry band of idiots took over, average rep tenure went from 10 years to 6 months. I don't know what the tenure really was back in 2006 but there were only 30 some reps and they had all been here 10 years or longer.

That team grew the business with triple digit growth doubling revenue 2006 2007 2008 to 100 million.
perry and kk fired most of them and turned over most territories 2 times since then.
The result. who knows the real numbers but you can bet branded Rx portfolio has barely moved since then. LE portfolio lost share and besivance added a few million. but the 100% annual growth in RX crashed to a halt since warburg took over. coincidence. hmmm no.

2008 to 2012. B&L Rx branded has had worse performance than obama.
