I have worked for a few companies where the GC's that are no longer practicing attorneys. Their job is to manage the legal department. What point are you trying to make?

Wrong again, Sluggo. As a GC you are managing the legal department (managing people). You are not practicing law. You have teams of people that specialize in contracts, IP, HR matters, compliance, etc. The team members are the one's practicing law.

If she is no longer an attorney recognized by a state bar, there is no client-attorney-privilege for Valeant. All of her communications can be subpoenaed by prosecutors, and then used in court against Valeant, the executive suite, and any other employee. Someone made a bad mistake, or a bad decision; there is so much risk with this.

Once again, we see stupid comments and stupid threads like this. It is all made up. Have you taken a minute to look at her background, her roles and where she was located. Of course not because then you would not even be looking at the state bars. Just a clue to you and the other morons that don't do their work: Think international. Companies have businesses in more than once country. Companies have employees that come from other countries and are educated in other countries. Now, go look at her background once again.

Look at this whole thread. The OP tells a lie and a bunch of idiots fall for it. Instead, they could have just check the state bar websites and found out that is listed in good standing with the New York bar. Do you think any of these liars will come back and apologize? Of course not. They got caught lying about stock sales, flight manifest, accusations of faulty financial filings, etc and each of them run away when getting caught in a lie.
