Leaving OBU for Kala?

I’m not in the OBU but I’m disgusted by the people on this thread throwing out threats of non-competes. Even if Shire did pursue it (they won’t), it is not the same indication for starters. But more importantly it would never stand up. Shire is being purchased which means layoffs are imminent and no one can be guaranteed job security right now. People have a right to protect their financial future in light of such uncertainty. Those of you throwing out baseless threats of non competes are disgusting human beings.

Ok youve shown us how smart you are. But, he thread was about people who start their new job at Kala and dont resign from Shire. Those people will not get paid by Shire beyond the Dec 3rd start date at Kala.

Oh so true!! Imagine managed care plans flocking to Kala's drugs, NOT!! Best to stay with Shire/Takeda or get out of eye care. Reps going to Kala will be on the street within 12 months.

Nope. SZ was not head of medical. More senior people have since left also with very little mention.

I heard the same. I think they are with holding pay if you try double dipping. Cant work full time for Kala and expect Shire to pay you to work for them. And, as my RD said burning bridges in eye care is never smart.

Well one of your former RDs isnt so smart - she is now working for a competitor and is bragging about the files she had stolen regarding Xiidra Rx information.
