Layoffs

Let’s hope!!! And, how about having them actually interview for the position?!? Their resumes are falsifically inflated. At the end of the day, they are only primary care reps that have little to show for.
Getting back on track to the topic of this thread...

Can anyone else envision a reorg with Respiratory around June of next year? More generics affecting the market, and given the fact that IC is now 50% Vaccines... Doesn't that say something? Could Trelegy go Syneos-only, like the old Breo team? GSK reps fold into VBU or be let go? Does GSK give a rep a choice between severence or new position? Not worried, just speculating. And I do think they need to do something to streamline their sales forces. It's chaotic.

Respiratory reps jobs are easy. I was one. Then I stepped into a VBU role and had to go thru a step learning curve and put in long days of work and travel. The VBU might not be for everyone looking for a life raft from respiratory and that's not to say you can't be trained for a successful career in vaccines. It just depends upon the person. For some it'd be best to go looking else where if you have the desire.

Well the sad fact for the company is that reps are a necessary evil. Not only do we drive business ( yes moron, we do) we also create leadership positions. We give leadership a finger to point at when things are bad. There will alway be a sales force. May not be as large as it is currently but there will always be a sales presence in the field. What bothers me is the lack of professionalism by current reps. Just saw a guy wearing scrubs. Cannot believe it! Asked him if he went into the O.R., dealt with patient care directly or assisted with procedures. His answer, no why would I? What a joke.

People are wearing scrubs into offices? Losers! What are they thinking?

I would prefer this to the unprofessional dress of many of my younger teammates, one wears stretch pants to see customers, another tracksuits and yet another short miniskirts in neon colors. Different people same team. It’s embarrassing.
