Tic toc, the days of the 125k plus cc rep is almost over. Rebadging paperwork has commenced with a max comp salary of 105k and bonus remains the same. Coupled with pension plan diversion to savings plan many will exit or face the poor house.

This time the swamp will be fully drained.

I hope so...What other industry in the world pays people 125K and perks to deliver
lunch? It makes no sense at all. Drain away...

This talk of layoffs is all speculation. There are only about 2 or 3 people in the company that know what will happen and they wouldn't be posting it on cafepharma. I agree that Merck can’t be trusted. They are cold and calculated in their decisions that negatively effect a lot of good people.

Uh, wrong. Layoffs require masses of folks a month ahead of time to be involved. Some include HR, payroll, legal to name a few.

Then add in the externals like myself. ZS associates has eyes on this EPIC change and YOU will be notified by Thursday of this coming week. You can expect the usual mandatory call with 24 hours notice. I don't like doing this but thought I would forewarn you.

No way is this happening! You think Adam Schecter would allow his brother to secure a meeting for 1000 people just to have layoffs? HE wouldn’t allow him that embarrassment!
 












Just checking in once again with those in HQ who have the insider info...are the layoff announcements going to be Wednesday Oct 10 or Wednesday Oct 17? Those two dates have been named in this feed.
