Well bless your sweet heart. Are you getting your feelings hurt? Poor pdi contract rep. You keep on wishing you could get a real job. Maybe when you sign up for unemployment next month you can make more than you do with pdi!

I earn more than your poor husband bird brain...I guess you are unemployed. Is this PLANE enough for you? LOL

Hey bird brain, I agree!! We got the best of them. We should be friends!!

Whoever you are...can you understand that here there are people with jobs and family at stake so they are not really in the mood to hear all this.

If you do not like VIVUS, fine but let whoever wants to share ideas in a civil manner. So please if you are not interested in the discussion we were having just leave.

I have nothing at stake but I feel for those people and their families.

Neither of you work for vivus so take this to another site. I'm concerned for my job and don't want to hear this crap.

I have a question for you if you do not mind answering. I hear from people apparently close to this Chris that the reps are to blame.

Now I do believe in accountability from the top down and I do not think it can be only a reps problem given that only 19 out of 125 are apparently profitable.

Would you mind sharing your opinion on the whole situation? what in your opinion did go wrong with the launch of Qsymia?

thank you

If you have nothing at stake, get off our site. This is for us to try and figure out what is going on. You two damn fools can fight or play on a other site. Please, both of you be gone.

I am not sure if you got the right person but I understand your frustration so I would not ask anything.

I wish all of you good luck.

I didn't resign, I decided to stay at home and look for another job! Thank you for caring!!

No problem...i am also very disappointed by all this...I do not want to count how much money I lost since January...but that is life. I believe this drug has potentials and I do believe you guys gave it all trying to market it. I do not feel like blaming any of you.

I do think though there might have been miscommunications between maybe you guys and the upper management but I do not understand why only 19 reps are profitable.

I cannot believe we have more than 100 reps who are not able to do their job. So there has to be some issue at mgm level and I was very disappointed to hear a flat blame on the reps. Leadership means also being able to take responsibility for mistakes and eventually correct them.

I hope vvus gets back on its feet and put its act together.

Thank you for all you said, you made a lot of sense. I was killing myself and I realized its to late. From what we are hearing and seeing from our management we can tell its over. I'm sorry about your stock, I have lost my tail also.

I have lost over $7 a share so I didn't do very good. Selling Q I thought we would do much better than we have. A good dr friend uses a lot of Q, she said that most are getting off it within 3 months. We all know that our studies show that we need to stay on it for at least a year.

Do they get off because they reach their optimal BMI or they drop because of other reasons like price? Did you ask him/her what was the main reason why those people get off? I understand that by saying " We all know that our studies show that we need to stay on it for at least a year" you are somehow hinting they did not reach their BMI but they get off for other reasons. So I was curious to know if, to you knowledge, price is the only issue or there are some other issues.

If you do no mind I have a question about Actavis. I did not look into the papers but I was wondering how many chances vvus people to give to Actavis being successful. Please if you think it is confidential info, do not answer to this question. I would understand.

She said because of the modest weight loss combined with the cost. She said that most feel the can lose just as much own thier own. Most are looking for a miracle, 10 to 12% weight loss at 1 year doesn't make many people happy. Most are looking for results like G-bypass surgery results in a pill form. Sorry, it's not going to happen.

Oki I see. but wouldn't be the task of the doctor to trimmer patient's expectations? I understand if your BMI is out of scale maybe you still will not look like a model after 1 year of Qsymia but shouldn't a doctor tell the patient...look this is not a miracle pill but will help your health. It might not make you a model but will make you healthier?

I am not sure...maybe lots of people with high BMI are unrealistic...so I am trying to understand how you would make a patient understanding that this is not about appearance (for that there is cosmetic surgery) this is about improved health.

I agree and yes the dr should discuss this with patients. I believe most do actually but I think patients get down on theirselves and say screw it, I love food. I agree with you but its so damn complicated.

Thank you for the fruitful discussion. I enjoyed it. Going to bed now. i hope the person "close" to this Chris will have the time and patience to answer my extra questions.

Till now he did not but it would be really helpful if he could do that.

I wish you a good night
