Admittedly, Tom's tenure was short and his approach to "leadership" is at best unique. He was however far better than what followed in the form of Andrew Eckdahl. Eckdahl was nothing more than an overpaid division sales manager. He demonstrated no strategy, no vision and an alarming lack of common sense. He was disaster at Ethicon too.
