Layoffs and / or reorganization

We are definitely due for the next one, and those of us that have been around awhile know that it’s true. The question is will diabetes and respiratory be lumped together, or separate lay offs.
Don’t you think they will be separate? They put us all in separate divisions to make the process easier,

No big downsize on the horizon. Once a hiring freeze goes into effect expect a major reorg in 6 months. Right now the job board is full of vacancies for Diabetes, Respiratory and Oncology.
That can all change at a moment’s notice so don’t put too much faith in those job board vacancies.
Yes it can, but that would be a first and a break in normal procedure. If the virus becomes major disruptive, that might be a reason for them to change an expected timeline.
If you were just hired, I would suggest that you don't stop looking. When the company announced the "Go To Market" business model back in 2016, it was made clear that the company would reassess the territories based on local access. It seems downsizes have become a way of life here. Remember in 2009 when the company said "never again."
Well, layoffs will probably happen after this quarantine is lifted. On the national call he hesitated when someone asked about layoffs and looked for the right words to make the respiratory team feel like it wouldnt happen.
He hesitated because it was A out of the blue and an overreaction question. Kinda caught me off guard also. But update your resume if you want.
I disagree also, that was an easy question to guess would come up...they will not continue to pay us much past a couple weeks of “skyping with the offices”...maybe you need to wake up!
YES ITA...that was a natural question and bravo to the intuitive soul that spoke up..because many of us were thinking the same thing. Every non medical professional I know is on home work assignment starting Monday.

They makes a lot of since, come April 6th the party is over. With all the other companies doing the same thing there will tons of layoffs.
