Layoffs ahead ...

We ALL know now why Merck sold Tildra. Management knows what a dog it is. They are openly saying it, so don't let them tear you down too much as the reps. There is a lot of scrambling and pointing fingers already among leadership. This has the potential to be an epic meltdown!

I think our issues are way bigger than tildra, and that tildra virtually cannot save the company. Opth is a new business but very much unproven. The regular Derm division is dying on the vine.

acne managers are having a conference call with corporate this afternoon good luck everyone.

Acne sales team should not worry much for the moment. SUN foreign management does not need to have a conference call to start firing people, including those on the call. Dilip and his carnival barkers do not usually lay people off. They just continue to raise prices and quotas until even an idiot can come to the conclusion that it is time to leave. Today's conference call should yield more ineffective bravado and revised unachievable goals and finger pointing. Too late to cut expenses in 2018, but they will try. Additional pressure is also on Goga. No telling what that clown will do when the backstabbing managers offer no solutions.

Tom is really nervous, you heard it in his voice. He's got 'till end of this quarter, and can't get outta here fast enough.

Then Goga is a gonna. The quarter is already over despite the desperation moves. Between unused vacation that must be taken, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, the year is already up. When you have nothing to give, cannot expect miracles. Run Forrest Run!

Correct.
He’s in his 3rd calendar quarter of leading Derm and if he doesn’t deliver in the this quarter, he’s out. On the outside, he gets until March.

The Indians are not getting any cash out of Opth or Tildra, and so they need Derm to deliver on target. I don’t think we can hit the numbers for this fiscal year.

And that means cuts are a coming. Indeed, Run Forrest, Run.

These comments are spot on interviewed with this group of circus performers and was left with a feeling they truly have no clue just parade some pretty faces into offices and then turn up the pressure when drug doesn't hit near quote

There are generally two numbers because there are two split meeting times. Most of the reps/managers get a 9 AM EST call. But the Ilumya team and the managed markets team get a noon EST call. That is when they are comfortably out of bed and the Today show is over.

And we’ll get about 2-3 weeks severance, max.

Was in Princeton not that long ago. The vibe of panic in the home office is everywhere. There's a lot of open conversation and people are confused as to what they should do. I was surprised how critical people are - of those above them and of course, field sales. we can't 'execute'.

Yup, the finger-pointing between sales and marketing is in full swing. It’s funny though to see KF and TG argue with themselves as to whether it’s sales or marketing that’s dropped the ball.

What kind of dreamers are you? It is the most normal thing in the world for a company to undergo restructuring. It's good to dispose of all the whiners in the process. Rejoice, you have more time to write here and we are happy, because then you cost less money. If a team causes too high costs and the turnover drops, then something has to happen. What do you expect? We now have to focus on new products and opportunities.

Tildra TM here. Fuzzy slippers on...watching the tv and looking for a job. Fuck these liars.

I can totally picture TG doing arguing with himself. ‘Sales can’t execute’, ‘no, the marketing plan sucks’, which is it ??? That was driving him nuts.
He’s gotten a few passes - first for being new - 3 months, then blamed NSD for 6 months till he cut him loose, then back to himself for 3 months, now over to new NSD. It’s gotta stop. We’ve had 3 leaders this year.

He is outta cards now. Step up or step out.

Taste great or less filling? Now how do I dumb this down to explain it to the bozos from Mumbai so I can buy another few months?

Dilly, Dilly!
