Layoffs Ahead.

You do what you need to do to satisfy the share holders and Japan. Sorry folks!

You should have realized little is free or comes without attachments. In this case you're investing in a future that leads to an obvious end. You're gambling for another 5 - 10 years, then what? I know, I know, what else would I do for this amount of money? Ask yourself if you're able to enjoy the conveniences the Takeda provides.

Figure out what you want to do next and start taking the steps now to get there. You do t want to be laid off and then start to plan.....you'll be too late. There's not going to be another sales position at another pharma company for you to just roll over to. At best you'll be taking a CSO job for 65k and .56 a mile on your own car!!

Don't be surprised! Plan now!

5 to 10 years??? Try 3 years max, you have nothing to sell, the slackers and cronies/ass kissers will keep on slacking and kissing, and you would have sold you soul for 3 years of salary. WOW!

I realize that this basic post has been made over 30 times in the past 2 years. But this time, I think you have finally figured it out. This time you have to be right.

Folks, I'm signing off for good - when I used to work at Takeda, I enjoyed the humor on some of these posts...but now, there is no (good) humor, rather a bunch of doomsayers who seem awfully unhappy about their jobs and lives. I wish you all well, but it's time to stop complaining. Have a great life.

I recently did a web cam interview and a phone interview in which both went great. The HR recruiter said I was perfect for position and sent all of my info to the hiring manager. That was almost 2 weeks ago and nothing has happened since. Any advice on the Estimated time I would be contacted?

Position was for a sales rep. Team 2

The fact that they got ANYONE to interview for a team 2 job means you'll get the job. Most job postings across the country are getting few to no applicants. The secrets out-Takeda is running off all their veterans, moving toward a contract force, has zero interest in gaining managed care standing and has a colossal flop on its hands with Contrave (your future lead drug on Team 2). I feel badly for what you're walking into.

Takeda saw its best days prior to the TZD issues. Hard to recover from Actos losing revenue because providers are scared to write it and Januvia pops up at the right time to take away patients.
