Check the news when you wake up. Nvs reports earning before the bell any cost cutting program will be detailed then. Do yourself a favor and listen to the conference call.

This is where the good info comes from. Look for nvs to miss it's number for the second qtr in a row. Look at how our products are selling.

What u need to understand is this.....diovan does 2billion u.s. Tekturna hopes to do 235 million. Diovan is know 10 months from being generic.

How many people do u need in your pod to sell 235 million worth of tek. Probably 2
 












Layoffs will occur between Sept-Oct. The following will take place:
1. 3 reps per POD
2. If income below $100k
A. You will not be paid until the first call is made
B. You will use your Blackberry to record time stamp
C. HQ will expect you to deliver messages and distribute samples
D. You will be paid until your last call is made (no allowance for travel)
E. You will get a monthly auto stipend
3. If you make more than $100k
A. You will become an account portfolio rep
B. You will assist managers in evening program completion
C. Expectation will be more business collaboration combined with high level selling skills
4. Managers may assume a variety of different roles
A. Hourly wage rep supervisor
B. Portfolio account rep manager
C. Portfolio Account Manager
Between now and Sept - ZS Associates is using data from Javelin to determine territory optimization. High level meetings are taking place to determine strategic implementation. All participants have signed non-disclosure documents. Get ready!

OMG shut up. Plenty of good AND bad reps were let go in December. It doesn't matter how hard you work. You're a DM who thinks you're actually important, no doubt. Have another drink of Kool-Aid.
 






Since 2008 there has been a plan in place to reduce total sales force across the board by two thirds over a period of 5-7 years using MCM. I was in house then and I saw it.

Read the wirting on the wall, people. The age of the big blockbuster products is kaput. Companies don't have large products which need large sales forces anymore. This is true of nearly every big pharma company out there.

Furthermore, with wage and hour litigation actually getting some play in the courts, it just gives this company a rationale and a process to implement their reduction plan and blame it all back on the reps.

We all need to start looking for a new carreer in non-pharma sales!
 






Layoffs will include the MS BU. Watch out if you are externally hired and overpaid you will be first to go! Whatever you accomplish can be taken over by lower paid reps...and lower paid ASMs. Truth hurts!
 


















If we want to be laid off with a severance package, how do we get that?? I would hate for my partners who want to stay to get laid off, and me keep my job. But I'm not quitting this close to layoffs.

Agreed. I would love to volunteer to be laid off! Just hope I can stick it out until then. This company sucks!
