Layoff Predictions

The WARN is the "60 day notice" during which you still get paid. It starts on the 1st day of your termination date that will be mentioned in the severance letter and runs for the next 60 days. You will earn 2 months of pay during this period and you will not be working during this phase (mostly sitting at home and looking for a job). At the end of this period, you are no longer with the company. Now, some companies might still ask you to work during 60 days depending on the importance of that job position.

Absolutely correct.

When was the "WARN" act passed? In 2009 when shit hit the fan- those reps got..... a weeks notice. Amylin aside- the entire industry is a toxic stress hole that is not what it used to be. Pharmaceutical companies slit their own wrists when they created and joined "PHARMA" to appease the governmental pressures. Face it- "Sales" reps are not sales reps- we're walking commercials.

Synergy rep here. I heard from a very reliable source in Amylin home office who is in the IT department who handles Lighthouse that the Synergy reps WILL NOT be cross-trained on Onglyza and only the Legacy reps will be.

That is not a good sign for us. Anyone else hearing anything? I think we are in deep trouble as I don't think the contract will go beyond December.

Good luck!

My two cents it starts with mgmt, DM and RD's. Which in my eyes
Are totally worthless. Amy has a couple
RD'S that all they do is whine to HR and
Threaten PiP's to help buy them time. And then
Go shopping for new shoes or pretend to work
And go on there boat with out taking PTO

Honey has as much info as anyone here trying to stir the pot. She knows as much information as name your rep in name your city. Which is zero. Because if she said that and it was accurate, she's not working on Friday.

Why would she say that on a conference call if it were not true? Now she has people in a panic and DM's & RD's have no idea? Come on!!!!!

They all want us to stay the course until the sh@&!t hits the fan.
