My district just got our layoff calls. Not surprising came at 5:00pm and really small severance! I'm glad this nightmare is over...those of you who made it through don't smile to hard because another set of calls going out next Friday. New realignments...start looking fast!
 






I got laid off too! Wow what a severance...this company doesn't care about the people...if you think so think again....get a side job because this company is sickin fast...I found out how fast when I got laid off. I thought I had 2 more months but that's for everyone else. They can'tafford to pay salaries and benefits going down to 100 reps nationwide. I'm glad I had already started interviewing months ago! I found job just in time. Good luck all but take advice and run while you have time!!!!!!
 






Sickin, I think you meant Sinking either way. Amarin sick leaders and sinking fast company with a high price fish oil that you can get OTC or online for $30.00!!! This start up company is ending up dead since no one will buy
 






Loved my call too! RD said nothing let low level management and DM do dirty work! These same people are just saving their own necks. Reps they don't care about you so don't believe a word. Decisions have been made and they overhired and will roll out cuts over next few weeks. Brace yourself!!! We all knew this was a short gig but this real short!!!

For those of us left, better get out quick. Do not want to be last as when we go bankrupt by end of year, we will not get anything. Should have sold company before launch, too late now as no one is interested in this scam of a company!

If you poor excuses of sales people could do your job and sell you wouldn't be in this mess! Dont blame the company blame your incompetence! What?? You got a superior product to detail and sell and you cant move market share or increase Rx's. You got the physician's ear with a new product that is a great product and you cant sell it. Dont blame the company. What did you want from them???? Amarin is a start up relying on you to make this company succeed and you failed all who were pushing for you. Shareholders, management, and most of all patients all relying on you to pass on a simple message. You guys suck! I knew it was a mistake to hire a bunch of laid off imbeciles with no talent and its showing. Go find another career as obviously this is not working out for you or Amarin. Amarin hired you and gave you shot and all you do is complain and fail. Managements fault! HA! your fault!!

Management is stupid to post on a board and slam reps! There still reps out there faking calls while looking for work! Lol. Get out of your ivory tower...don't throw stones..you reap what you sow! Reap bad sales on Vascepa because you sowed bad launch and micromanagement!
 






Im not management fool, but i am an investor and drug rep. Tell me how management failed you?? This i want to hear. You agreed to work for a start up, right? All your job is to do is sell. Don't blame management for your failure to increase Rx's of a superior product. Im sure its not a layoff but a bid to rid the Co. of it's poor performers. If you cant move business then you have to go. It's that simple

There have not been any layoffs. What is going to happen is some areas will lose reps because volume is too low and some areas will add more reps where volume is high. All going to happen soon
 












It's probubly do to the fact that A deal has been made for a buyout either by GSK or Pfizer. Thanks for the confirmation guys, after all why would they need u guys to work their anymore.
