Lay-offs

Yep, UNITED is a HUGE dissapointment, nowhere near what projected numbers were.

Typical.

Just wait till the news about BCBS contracting with Quest hits in September.

OUCH !!!

I have no doubt more lay offs are in the works. They went for most experienced highest paid employees. They may have saved some dollars but they lost alot more knowledge. This company is being managed quarter to quarter and by EBITA bonus. They can't get people paid correctly, they can't keep clients happy because there are literally not enough people to run the tests but we are so heavy in sales management and I can't really figure out what some of these people do.

Things must be pretty f'd up for you at Quest right now for you to be posting this sh't on LabCorp's board. Stop your whining and take care of your customers. Then maybe they wouldn't leave you.

200 employees are about to be laid off, spoke with an insider today who has first hand knowledge, be cautious if you are one of the highest paid, they will go for you next

This was an absolutely toxic and abusive company to work for. Never experienced anything like it. Several managers were mentally abusive and militant to their staff, and sadly - this was supported by upper mgmt since their "numbers" were good. Unbelieveable how unprofessional and unethical they were.

People are getting smart and actually leaving before being potential casualties. Life's too short to work 14-16 hr days (and wkends) training -- then get laid-off for bogus reasons. Sadly, it's impacting clients from several perspectives (TAT, service, etc). A rather large client said my departure was a huge loss for LC...and impacted future contracts. I gave my all to LC, but fortunately got smart and took charge of my destiny.

It already happened in Florida. RMBD in Miami that was ALWAYS making numbers and the head of the Hospital team.

Funny, they were the highest paid.

But then again, it's not funny. Sure hope they sue

This RMBD was not layed off.....get your facts straight. Asked to pack up and get out (FIRED).
The people in So FL are hard workers and dedicated.

Tampa and North maybe a problem from what I am reading.

Hospital head let go same at the time as with RMBD. Same reason (FIRED).

Leave the people in Florida alone.
There seems to be some mean spirited posts on this board. Get a life and job!

Maybe they were having affairs with their team members

No, they were selling real estate and upper managemnt got pissed because they weren't included in the money making deals.

Labcorp management will fuck you one way or another.

Can't be that they were having affairs. If that were the case than the RMBD would have been fired long ago. He's having affairs with phlebs and former phlebs. The guy is a pathetic loser. Like we have NO respect for him whatsoever.
