Lay Offs in March

Not buying the sleeve 2 thing at all. They are hiring contract reps every single day with no end in sight. A lot of the contract reps are just as good as BI reps. I would have said the only difference is that they are out looking for jobs all of the time but I would bet most BI reps are as well.

Looks like sleeve 1 is going to be responsible for business planning for Linagliptin. Don't quite understand this since it will be the primary drug for sleeve 4 and they didn't move people over to promote it. Sleeve 1 gets to learn it, plan for it, and sell it but not good enough to be hired for it.

Who the heck is running this place and even more important why does everyone seem to be following them down the rabbit hole?

If BI reps were getting the ax in March........wouldnt we have received a 30 day warning From A. Ros like in 2009???
 








I am not sure about March, but certainly mid-year!!

Maybe for sales in March, but for the rest of the organization, it is now certain in mid 2011!!!! lay offs or several PIPs leading to mid year axings!!!
 








There will be no layoffs since Linagliptin will be a $15 billion drug. Diabetes will affect 100% of the world and then we will expand to other galaxies to prescribe it to other alien life forms. BI is the best run company in history and is very family oriented. I watched my RD eat a shit taco.

It has really already started!! I know of several people that have been let go on very minor infractions. They have always told us that they could find anything to get rid of us, and now they are. They want 'natural attrition' to take care of the majority of the sales force so that they dont have to announce a layoff!! Ive heard upper mngmt use this term!! Hold on to your asses BI reps, the s**t storm is just beginning........
 




Natural attrition taking care of a large part of the sales force is still a huge number. I know that the sales force is about 40% contract or greater right now but we have a pretty large sales force. The number of sales reps that are still directly employed by BI is quite large and I don't think natural attrition is going to it. I think a lot of people have the fuck 'em attitude now as well. Everyone is doing their job and staying within their numbers just to hang on.
I have never seen such a pieced together sales force. It's a disgrace!

Reach and Frequency!! Those nasty words that can get you fired! Very easy for them to put you on a PIP for this. I've had many friends held to the fire because of R&F. Be smart when reporting calls and you should be safe.
