largo layoff

Well the real truth will come out when today is finished if we don't hit our number....cant wait to see what ole CURTO has in store for the team at NSM! Maybe he will tell us he is closing Utica?

Not surprised. Many of the RVP's Crazy Curt hired we're put into place to just kiss his ass and keep their mouths shut.
They had no business coming to ConMed; they brought zero value to conmed. Now they're expendable. This shit show has come full circle. I think I saw Newsome last week at KFC drivethru.
He screwed my order. Where's your passion?
Looks like Newsom was rehired and he is hiding in the Contract Department in Utica. This guy is a HR nightmare so I don't think he will last long.

Another round of layoffs today at both Largo and Utica. Many long term people, 20 to 30 years, were let go while new people who know nothing are still there. Where is the justice in this.

It's the continuation of death by a thousand cuts.

Initial cuts were higher cost players, many replaced by even higher priced "talent". Subsequent rounds include lower and lower paid folks which speaks to the financial shape of the company and the fact that the new "talent" might not quite be all that and a bag of chips. Sad.

These cuts arent coming from Curt. Looks like Nate is making bad decision and listening to his Arthrocare buddies JP and Dan. Notice that not one Arthrocare person has been cut. It's all been existing ConMed employees and Arthrocare promotions.

Apparently, Smith and Nephew is looking to hire ConMed reps. Nate's current screw up is trying to cut reps pay if they have an associate. Should be an interesting next couple of months and see where ConMed reps or associates end up.

How much longer can this continue? Miss your numbers, have a bad quarter, cut more old Conmed employees. Miss your numbers, have a,bad quarter, cut some more old Conmed employees. Miss your numbers, have a bad quarter, cut some more old Conmed employees. This has been the same CH move in every quarter for the past 2 and half years. How long are the investors in Conmed going to allow CH to miss his numbers, have a bad quarter, without cutting CH? CH made a lot of growth promises when he took the job, and none of those promises included hundreds of job losses in order to maintain the same earning levels while sales dwindled.

maybe the entire staff in utica should be cut????????? including curt? oh yea, I remember now he is a stryker guy and better than everyone else here so he knows what he is doing!!!!! we are all doomed.

SAME EARNINGS LEVELS?????

With any luck they'll fire the 7 regional sales director for the orthopedic division, Nate F and Dan D. But I'm sure we won't be that lucky. It's amazing they could get rid of so many long term people that knew so much about the company, products, and industry. And then they keep these 7 regional sales directors, that still after 2-years on the job, know nothing, and provide no value. Most of them are from Arthocare, so their only experience was overseeing reps that carried the only bi-polar ablator on the market. And the other ones are ex-Stryker guys, and it's really hard to believe that any of them really could have held a job at Stryker.
