Lantheus Medical Imaging

wonder why BD is still listed as Vice President, Manufacturing and Operations on the website if...in addition to her current responsibilities leading the Company’s Commercial and International operations, MAH will assume leadership for Manufacturing and Operations, and will be responsible for the integration with Quality and Regulatory Affairs?? Hmmmm???

BD's promotion to his current position was a parting gift to us by that shithead KS before she left...the two of them are two peas in pod or two terds in an ass. He's every bit as ineffective and useless as she was. She terrorized people as a way to hide her incompetence. He screws people over, especially those that might out him, to hide his. Overseeing the engineering department is the most he has ever been capable of.

You guys can knock LMI all you want. You obviously haven't been visiting their state of the art web site. It's the model of ultimate efficiency: one job opening and a phone number. The "web master" came up with an innovative idea to reach more viewers by printing off the web pages and mailing them to customers. The list is small so it's not that big an expense. You want to talk about innovation? Wait until the audio tapes of the Town hall meetings start hitting your door step. The Phoenix is... is...

I wouldn't give them too much credit on the technology side. They still think the "flip chart" is revolutionary.

The one thing you folks seem to be missing is all your predictions about the demise have been wrong. Look back on your own BS here. It was going to be over in the summer of 2011- then by last quarter of that year. It was chaneged several times and despite all the gloom and doom you write of, you have been wrong.

It makes sense that the majority here might have been former managers, your ability in predicting the future of the business has been so wrong it just reinforces the idea that those who blew you out the door knew just what they were doing. Nothing you have said has come to pass, your constant criticizing of those that remain, prove that most of you are probably as phoney and incompetent as you claim everyone else to be.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...what a fantastic place to work. Employees can't wait to get to work everyday. Happiness, enthusiasm and cooperation abound. Everyone is respected and treated well. No favoritism exists. There is no abuse of power. Employees feel free to speak their minds without fear of repercussions. No snitching. No screwing and setting people up to look bad and fail just because it can be done. No exaggerating miscues for some and down playing or ignoring them for others. No truth to any of the above.

Thank you, Jeff.

You can spin it any which way you want. Calling it a High Tech Organic Fertilizer Facility doesn't change the fact that it's still a shit hole.

Interesting that former managers that played a part in growing the business year after year, including its most profitable and reputable years are now being blamed for dragging the business down. Leadership installed by Avista apparently can't see the forest from the trees. They've brought the business to its knees and in nearly 10 years of ownership have been unable to unload it. If you're still an employee Get Out. If you're a potential buyer Stay Away.

Billerica, Mass.-based Lantheus, which manufactures a range of medical contrasting agents and related technology, is backed by New York PE firm Avista Capital Partners. Avista bought the company from Bristol-Myers Squibb(BMY - Get Report) for $525 million in December 2007.

Since acquiring the company, Avista has seen Lantheus struggle because of supply chain issues.

In November 2011, for instance, Ben Venue Laboratories, a subsidiary of German drugmaker Boehringer Ingelheim, said it was temporarily closing its Bedford, Ohio-based plant, which produced Lantheus' top-selling product Definity, an ultrasound contrasting agent injected into the body to help physicians better distinguish blood vessels, tissues and organs.

The next year, Lantheus had issues with Ottawa-based Nordion, which provided the company with the molybdenum-99 used in its TechneLite device, which generates isotopes used in diagnostic imaging tests. Lantheus uses molybdenum-99 and enriched uranium to generate the isotopes.

PERFORMANCE NO EXCUSES ! BD - you messed up big time!

The mother ship, Avista, continues to get their's. So what if it means LMI is over leveraged and employees are tossed out like a disposable commodity. It's all part of the plan to stuff as much money in Avista's pockets no matter what it takes. Welcome to the greedy new world business order.
