Sue them, be persistent and make sure you have a reputable attorney. Hold on long enough and they will pay to make you and your lawsuit go away. AZ hates bad publicity and it costs them to drag these cases along.
 




It's absolutely hilarious to hear all of the arm chair lawyers out there talking about suing AZ, as if that scares them! The Supreme Court has all but gutted any age discrimination lawsuits coming before them. In a mass layoff, where the WARN Act comes into play, you can bet your sweet ass that AZ triple checked to make sure they were acting within the law. They will ultimately send out a breakdown to all those affected showing demographics, etc. I can promise you, you won't find a lawyer anywhere to take a case like this.

Just move on. You are one of the ones that was "too busy" to look for something else, or thought you were one of the "safe ones". You wasted your time, and now look what has happened. But you are not alone. More than likely everyone that got canned did the same thing. Even though a lawyer will take up to half of your settlement, there are many cases where the ex employee cashed in by being patient and persistent. There are also several cases where Human Resources was found at fault by the judge or jury.

There are many, many lottery winners too! Thousands who invested a few dollars and hit the jackpot! Go for it.
