Labcorp - get a clue about ImmunoCAP!!

More like big pussies. Don't believe the ImmunoCRAP bull shit. Same reagent technology for the past 20 years with different marketing spin. Since they don't make their own machines, their sole survial is to cum up with new ways of selling the same old sponge. Can we say douche?

ImmunoCAP is Crap

Phadia sucks -- they get sold every three years to a new investment firm. They are losing market share daily. Their technology, in terms of hardware, is a total joke. Same for Hycor. They think a friggin Tecan is a major technological advancement. 24-48 hour incubation for a single test result - you gotta be kidding. Ever heard of a computer??????????? The Germans (Siemens) will put Phadia back on the financial auction blocks and Hycor out of business, ultimately.

Allergists are bone heads who refuse to see the testing paradigm shifting -- they hate in vitro testing because it cuts into their wallets. HMO's (ie UHC) loves in-vitro allery testing...Bye Bye Skin Pricks.

Check out the article in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in July, 2007..........then tell me about your shitty RAST test. ImmunoCAP is not NEW, but is it NEW in that it has only recently been available to physicians on a national label.

If ImmunoCAP is so bad, then why does Labcorp want it? Too bad Labcorp is too cheap, and that is what is holding up docs from getting it through Labcorp.

Yeah, pretty bad investment for the last group.........bought it at $500 million and sold it for $1.3 Billion.

Get a clue.

There is very little content in this discussion that adds value.

Discussions about companies being bought and sold has nothing to do with ImmunoCap methodology versus RAST IgE methodology. Companies are bought and sold all the time for reasons unrelated to the quality of their products.

Jabs at other sales reps. about perceived income disparity is completely unrelated to the subject matter and serves only to be inflammatory (being a troll).

WIkipedia cannot be considered a valid source of information.

Only one punctuation mark is needed at the end of a sentence.

What is lacking in this discussion is a meaningful comparison between competing methodologies based on quality of results vs. price vs. benefit to the patient.

Please save your competitive energies for the market, there's no need to waste them on a discussion board. Your original post is nothing more than saber-rattling and name calling. How much noise do you make on the playing field? How happy are your customers with the products that you have sold to them? Do you provide support after the sale? Would a physician buy a product from you more than once? How friendly are you with your customers; do you ever visit for reasons other than a sales call? Do doctors run out of the examination rooms when you show up because they like to talk to you? Do you stop at the glass or are you welcome to walk in the back door? Do your clients use Google or do they call you? Do you answer your cell or let it go to voice mail? Does the office staff send you holiday greetings, do they invite you to their celebrations?

I could go on and on...For me, the answer to above is yes. I am Labcorp, I am here for a long-term relationship. Most sales reps will move on to another company and sell a different product within three years. I'm not going anywhere. I am a real person. I am a part of the healthcare community. I'm looking out for what is best for my customer. I am respected and trusted. I am a part of the client's office. I am the "go-to" guy for answers.

Does any of the above sound like you? If not, you need to settle down a bit and adjust your game.

What's funny is you telling people to settle down when no one had even posted on this thread in 5 years.
