I don’t believe it should have been in the G&Os the way it was. I feel people managers behaviors were to hire without merit to achieve their own objectives and get rated appropriately. That said do I think there is more that can be done to ensure that diverse people get a fair chance ? Yes because guess what? The good ol boys club doesn’t represent the masses. One more thing, when I did see diverse people coming into leadership roles I never experienced their inability to do the job at high levels. My opinion is they were strong and more approachable then the good ol boys club that leads by intimidation and pompousness . It’s all about balancing and doing what’s right. My opinion.Stock is tanking due to DEI hires and promotions rather than hiring & promoting MOST QUALIFIED. Hiring & promoting due to skin color is RACISM.
Well said.It's time to stop drinking the kool aid- ask questions and challenge leadership. Take a closer look at the Credo in Action team. bunch of jerks cycling through, unlikely to drive meaningful change. Likely referred without any proper 360 vetting. Real change comes from those who question decisions, listen, take criticism, and are kind/humble leaders, who don’t simply accept choices at face value
