KAT brought in a real crew of turds with her. If they were an indication of the kind of "team" she assembled, it was pretty clear she was out of her depth.

Bets on shobie (political executive who checks all the right boxes), joe touey (ancient artifact but would stabilize the mess left behind), or an international candidate since the last American/Canadian (depending on which way the wind blew) ruined it for everyone else. Perhaps they should hire J. Martin to conduct the search.

Shobie does check all the right boxes from a I&D perspective, but she is even less competent than kat. Touey is not even worth mentioning. It matters not, because GSK wouldn’t know what to do with a well oiled tech machine anyway. They should just elevate agam and have him cut costs and move all jobs to India. He’s already doing that anyway.
 






Make no mistake. She is being FORCED out, and her reign of corruption and incompetence is finally coming to an end. Kudos to GSK for doing the right thing and cleaning house at the senior leadership level.

Plus, Agam is so warm and friendly and has the loads of charisma required for a top position.

She always said "I've told you the 3 skills you need to be successful at GSK!" I guess she didn't follow her own advice.

She managed to wreck and demoralize an entire IT organization in 3 years - well done!
 






Most of the good people were retired out if they were close enough, the rest left after it became clear Kat couldn't manage her way out of a paper bag.

Maybe a few left but it would take years to rebuild a decent team after the Walmartization Wrecking Krew are finally out the door.
 






No kudos for GSK management after KAT slashed and burned the careers of hundreds. She came in with her saying of “old timers are out-of-timers” and exemplified the most disrespectful behavior of any executive in the company especially to long service employees. She hired hundreds of people from outside pharma and spent millions to update the second floor of RTP Sanders which was probably used for about a month. Management knew this was going on and, if they did not, shame in them as she was a CET member. This is the best example of all talk about GSK values but no walk.
