Well that’s still 100 lives and families that he affected. People understand layoffs, people can prepare for layoffs but the way that blubbering bastard did this was unforgivable and inept! And if it isn’t Joaquin, then who is responsible? Joaquin was the one that said on every call and from the stage that this wasn’t a layoff and was not intended to reduce jobs! We trusted that fat bastard! We even had a little empathy when he talked about his son and family but Joaquin didn’t give a shit about our families. If they did, they would have been upfront. We are going to have a layoff, so you need to prepare. You don’t continue to fill positions and allow people to move from stable positions in the company to a position in vaccines that you are about to eliminate. Thats totally against the values that GSK claim they expect employees to exhibit. Trust and transparency! The leadership doesn’t even model what’s expected of employees! And if your employees can’t trust you, what makes you think the customers should? Why should the investors trust you? If you lie to your employees or misrepresent the facts to us you will do it to anybody!

Khuram didn’t have to lie to the people in that room at that meeting in ATL. His Area experienced significant cuts and people already didn’t trust him.
