I came to this sight to hopefully hear that the moral of the company has improved since I left. Boy, was I wrong!!! I wish I could help motivate others to leave. There is life after BI, and even Pharma. Don't give up your job hunt! Stay positive! Kelly and Co. did an amazing job of killing a company, not its people. Stay strong!!

The only thing you have are your jokes. Because you are a joke. You can't debate clinical info. You proved that for 18 pages in Stiolto. OP (to this), good for you. Good luck out there. We are all about to find out about life after BI (at least in respiratory) sometime next year.
 




look everyone, open your eyes pharma is dead. BI is dead. They did nothing to repair morale. If any of you are younger in the work force, you will not retire in pharma. If you're 40 years old do you really think the pharma sales career bus will still be moving forward for 25 more years? its over.

Oh, Kelly and Co. had nothing to do with it. BI Germany said reduce headcount to make BIPI sustainable for what it's worth. Those people were just following orders; so they used the GOT scheme as a means of giving a RDiF some credence of a management plan and not utter chaos as it actually turned out. Every time you belly-ache about PF/CM/KD you give the mothership a free pass that is pretty unwarranted and tells me you are either young or just plain sore about it. Your resentment is for the wrong people. Self preservation made PF and KD do what any of us would do: get rid of others and hope and pray they don't get rid of you afterwards. Too much overhead with too little money coming in to replenish the coffers is the first chapter in MBA class about keeping a business venture afloat. I get your pain and it sucks 'cause a few good people were let go and a few bad apples (like that dumb-fuck, doom and gloom Stiolto guy who bitches and moans he doesn't have an ICS to sell) made it through; it's not a perfect world unfortunately.

Yes, I do. If there wasn't a rep in a docs office selling a drug they wouldn't write it, period. There will always be a need for reps. Don't conflate the number or reps in the field with zero reps. There are no more PC disease states left to conquer so PC will be throttled downward to be sure form the 25 Million (exaggeration here) reps from the late 90s - early 2000's. All that's really left is diabetes, until an oral insulin pill that shows CV mortality data (NOVO is in phase 2). If you are young and want to retire in pharma go spec as fast as you can. The mommies that do PC will choose to go part time or contract and that will be all that's left in PC.
