Please do not refer to this as a "reward" - given what some individual suffered through this far from being a reward.

Rewards come out of people suffering every day... So I think Reward is a perfect name to call it.

I have suffered at work, on the field, in the gym, at home.... guess what I get rewards out of that...

You don't have to share all the details, but could you let us know if that is a backpay award only or did you also send in the rider for compensatory damages? Just curious if the 200 per month backpay award is true so I know what to expect.

I am getting 32K dollars and change. I was around for the entire period. I also will be getting a check for the overtime pay thing. Wow, thanks Novartis HR, you're the best, most incompetent group I've ever encountered and you are good for my bank account, amen.

Is that just backpay or backpay plus compensatory damages? I haven't received a letter yet.

Did your $32,000 include any compensatory amount or is this the max amount if you had been an employee for the entire time. Congrats!! So looking forward to my letter...I also have been here the entire time:)

What part of the country are you in? Is it possible all letters went out at the same time and those on the east coast have received theirs first? Or maybe backpay letters went out and compensatory letters are to follow....The suspense is killing me!

I have spoken with many of my former female counterparts and managers in NJ and NO ONE has received any letter in regards to the payout. I do know that they will "NOT" be withholding taxes. You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year and claim it as part of your income for 2011. According to the ruling, they have until April 9th to finish the review of the rider and all monies on back pay are to be paid out by May 18th. It doesn't say if the damages will be paid at the same time. Has anyone heard or received a letter of explanation? Thanks for any additional feedback...

You're right!! I called the claims administrator yesterday and they said that 42 people with "special circumstances" got the letter. They said there was no information available for me. And that payout would be in may!

Just curious, when you spoke to the claims administrator, did they refer to what the "special circumstances" are? I know we are all waiting patiently for this long awaited payout. As I said in an earlier post, I have spoken with MANY women who are involved in this suit and no one has gotten a letter or a check. It's been quiet all the way around. We have all been in this since the beginning so those who want to be truthful should post what they know. Much appreciated...:)

I live in a south central state and haven't received a letter. I am very interested in the special circumstances the 42 people had who got the letter!

Please keep us posted!

Hi, I live in Indiana and I have not heard anything. The last letter I recieved was 11/26/2010 just reminding me to send everything in. I called the claims administrator at 866-208-5285 and he just said sometime in May. I would love to hear more detail. If I get anything I will post and let you all know.
