Might as well go out and work hard no matter what. You want to be doing well regardless if we are sold or not gang. The tenacity you shoe by working hard in these situations shows true grit and will bode well for you whether at Shire, Takeda, or your next company

This very well could be the DUMBEST post I’ve ever read here. How absolutely disconnected are you with what’s really going on in the field?! While you are counting your $100 bills in your ivory towers with your pathetic “tenacity” rah rah non-inspiring garbage, real lives are about to be changed in ways you can’t/won’t be able to understand. So respectfully, from all of us out here to you up there, take your rah rah non inspiring horse*** tenacity message which god knows how much you clowns paid someone to vocalize miserably to us and shove it.
 












Nobody is going to do shit in the field or at their desks until this nightmare ends one way or the other and that’s reality. Also, life isn’t over this is pharma. If you didn’t see this coming months or years ago i apologize. Let me help you out this time, it’s time to start looking for a new job or wait to get laid off. Those are the choices so pick one.

Entitlement 101. There is no denying that the uncertainty in all of this sucks but since you are so 'ethically minded', are you going to call HR and have them stop paying your salary while you piss and moan and don't do your job?

Spot On! If a rep doesn't make calls and work 8 hours per day for Shire. They will be fired ASAP! Shire management will not provide a positive reference for slackers!!

Think again, they are cutting people left and right, RD’s, Reps. Word on the street is RD’s are being told to reduce headcount. The business units with the most headcount are being reduced. They are using any metric at any time point to show that you fall below expectations. They don’t want to pay severance. Get out now! Get things in order, rankings, appraisals, awards etc... before they are unavailable.

I barely work on Friday’s made 2 President’s clubs, at most work 3 hours a day! If you’re working 8-5 you’re not doing a good job of managing your territory. The problem with this company.....Baxalta acquisition, Mydayis, and ped and adult territories! Fact!

This company has failed miserably and settled for a buy out price less than they were offered 3 years ago without baxalta. Fleming is a douche bag
