I have no problem working, however it’s difficult when all offices will be closed. I want to be ethical but it also puts reps in a bind

Yes it does.
I guess there will be a lot of us driving into empty office parking lots and entering calls so we can say we were “there”

Right. Most in the field do not work Fridays anyway. Most of the managers have administration day on Friday. Most of the access and FRMs don't work at all. The home office people are usually gone by 2 PM on most days. So why would not having off July 5 make any difference? There is a list of holidays sent out early in each year. If this was such a big issue, the complaints should have been voiced prior to July 1. Drama Queens!
