The org announcement was weird and the CDS Town Hall was like a hostage situation...very awkward. It was bizarre to have a meeting and discussing where JB is going to land vs the jobs removed. The OU strategy by Geoff Martha is being completely undone. That should strongly suggest someone else who should be looking for a new position too.

There are more OUs to be shut down. The CDS structure was bad to begin with. They were structured as if they had their own R&D center when they were completely dependent on CRM resources...it was never going to work

Creating OUs to provide leadership opportunities for women and minorities was just woke and stupid. I feel badly for those leaders set up to fail.

OU's and before that - "General Managers" is a title they brought over from GE. They claim you have P&L responsibility and/or full business decision making. Then promote people into that role and they practice having a cross functional staff. But because the Global or Business functions actually do the work the OU/General Manager has very little decision-making.

Great on the resume, because it sounds like you ran a business. These people usually stay far, far away from customers.

JB is one of the most twisted and divisive "leaders" at medtronic. Women love her and she loves women. Horrible with men of any color, white, black etc.

Not very smart, and has significant "daddy" issues and all that goes with that. Nothing "authentic" here folks,,,and anyone that describes themselves as "inspirational" (her words on linkedin) has some serious mental issues.

Go away JB,,,won't be fast enough!

Don't forget that he made certain his pay went up double-digit percentage points while the rest of the company gets RIF'd and/or fired.
