The usage of “Sour grapes” is a perfect example of how Orgo leadership addresses feedback. Don’t address the problem, instead attack the people who bring up real issues. Call them liars, complainers, sour grapes. An anonymous board is sadly the ONLY safe place an orgo employee can freely speak up.
PSA for ORGO employees: if you see fraud, sex harassment, bullying or any other problem in your environment you should immediately go external for help. DOJ, SEC or a labor attorney. Raising anything internal will immediately halt your Orgo career and land you on the next down-sizing list.
HR is not your friend. Lori is not your friend.
Don’t assume the normal checks and balances are at play in your organization, it is fraught with insecure paranoid executive leadership that knows the other shoe is about to drop. It’s why they deliberately decimated HR and Gary never shows his face.
It’s not a safe place for an employee. An absence of “speak up” culture is not safe for the patient or the shareholder either. There are a lot of high quality people at Orgo, but a fish rots from the head and the execs are operating from the “Mimedx circa 2017” playbook.
