Jardiance is a very good drug. It’s 3rd line after metformin and a GLP-1 generally speaking.
It’s been on the market 7-8 years so nobody is going to want to hear you tell them something they’ve heard eleventy billion times already. It’s pretty much a sample drop & formulary reminder drug at this point.
It really is a “me too” drug with Farxiga. I lol when anyone tries to say they aren’t “me too drugs.”
Chance of a roll over? Lolol ….no. Lilly is just making bank off of BI’s stupid ass contract. We are here to deliver a set amount of first position calls with Jardiance until the contract is up in a few years. Then Lilly will tell you bye bye. They will probably tell our PC3 sales force bye bye too lol
Hey thanks for the honest reply... My recruiter had mentioned the contract looks good until end of 2023 beginning of 2024, from what you know would you say that's seems plausible. My assumption was contract would depend on the kidney data that's supposed to be out later.

But if you rep it, just go be nice to your accounts & keep them in samples & your day is done.
Like another poster said. I’m not sure how much longer BI will keep us on contract. There isn’t a need for us. They can carry it on their own.
I wouldn’t expect the contract to go past 2 years.
Honestly that sounds so beautiful it almost brings a tear to my eye. If I could squeeze 2 years out of this contract I'd be ecstatic.

The original contract was for 10 years. This was in 2016?There is the new CHF indication that you can keep your docs up to date with. And yes, when ckd is approved it will be long awaited for and something to promote.
I just accepted the same position. What was their offer? I tried negotiating base but they shut me down quick. First pharma gig
70k was the offer and I negotiated to 75... The recruiter lead me to believe the range was 70-85 but I can't confirm that.
ya my recruiter lead me to believe it’d be in the 90s. They came in right where you are, but said the had no wiggle room and it was decided by the contract with Lilly. Probably could’ve pushed harder for more but oh well seems like a chill gig
