Japan to replace LC

Last week was Phase 1

Phase 2 will involve firing LC as Eisai is actively interviewing candidates

Phase 3 will include appointing CS's old position. SS's position will not be filled.

Phase 4 will include replacing OB

CS had warned Japan 16 months ago about this mess and she was ignored Obviously to Naito, CS should have been listened to. Otherwise he wouldn't fly here to just have dinner with her.

You mean to say that any of this was a surprise to Mr Naito? I know top executives live sheltered lives and underlings usually varnish reality in order to keep their jobs, but I can't believe that Naito did not see the A23, Eritorin, Aciphex 50 coming unless he is totally top line and does not pay attention.

Don't forget the Lorcaserin failure. LC must go. He's obviously a horrible leader.

LC had lied to Japan about the future pipelines and the steps taken to minimize the damage due to the generic competition.

A year ago, LC was quoted during an informal meeting outside of Eisai as syaing that the business was in trouble. Still he delayed to take actions and now hundreds of employees face uncertain future. Last year, LC knew the whole thing was falling apart and he did not do anything.
