Jackie Nielson email about great example should I send one

Doesn't Jackie have enough to do then to send out these daily examples from people who are making every day count in 2013. Help me...should these emails motivate me or make me wonder why this co is sinking.

I am confused and I realize I am not very bright but instead of typing an email to Jackie and making up some story of collaboration and spreadsheet, why are you not making a call on a customer and driving results. Better yet, why as a manager are you not helping reps with their my PMP or coaching instead of typing a email to Jackie.

Again, I realize that I am not the best and the brightest but my job description never stated sending emails to Jackie. Please advise, should I start doing this???????

Anytime you've got someone at the level this lady at who's writing this kind of stuff you know you're in trouble. This isn't in the job description of someone with her title. What a frickin' joke. Besides that, who doesn't do the things that were written about? It was padding-that's all. We all do that kind of thing every day. But she doesn't know what we do during the course of a normal day so maybe it sounded good to her.

This company sucks. It's all PC. Feel-good. Lets all get along. Except for one thing-while we're getting together for all our "collaboration" meetings, teleconferences, meetings, taking tests, our competitors are out there having RFM's and spending money and kicking our asses. Go figure. I like it Merck. sounds good. Keep it up and you'll be in the bottom of the trash bin in no time flat.

If so, it's all fluff---no stuff.
Pure phony with "nose in the air'.
She never gave a darn about her direct or indirect "reports".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THIS CANNOT BE CORRECT. HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS? IF ITS TRUE, THAT ANSWERS ALOT OF QUESTIONS. TO HAVE SOMEONE LEADING AN ORGANIZATION WHO HAS NEVER DONE THAT JOB, THAT MAKES NO SENSE. AS QUESTIONABLE AS MANY OF MERCKS DECISIONS ARE, I HAVE A HARD TIME BELIEVING THIS ONE.

I have only been in co 15 yrs so I don't know but I did hear she married late in life. Perhaps she changed name to Nielson.

Again I just hate these email. Makes me wonder who is stupid enough to send examples. Perhaps one of these folks will break policy.

Saw it first-hand back in the McLarty days, since this is apparently the same person.
Completely detached from the "field" while supervising the "field".
And snooty to the hilt.

Her continued employment in a high level position is another reason why a one-time ground-breaking leader in the pharma industry is now gasping for breath.

I think you missed my humor. You had to be in the room back in Anaheim, CA a couple years ago.

Surely, someone else remembers her use of the word learnt. I couldn't believe my ears.

Her first job was as my region director. Yes, she was never a rep.

These messages are being produced to prove she's a human.

Despite her considerable limitations, your comments reflect the ignorance and stupidity which have come to define the "New Merck". So you deserve every trite and contrived message from that phony deposited in your mailbox.

Add that the "bitch-a$$" is making a mint compared to your sorry a$$.
