You're joking, right? Are there any hospital billboards in your area that promote an Endo-stitch or are there hospital billboards promoting robotic surgery? Hospital aren't that concerned with cost when using the robot, otherwise they wouldn't have purchased it. It is a great marketing tool and they are under the impression that having a robot will increase their case volumes.

Tell you what, why don't you go talk to the hospital CEOs about Endo stitch. I'm sure they make time for you and your "cost savings" idea.

The problem is Surgical Solutions of Covidien, including you, doesn’t know how to segment the market from the procedural or hospital points of view and target products accordingly, by leveraging the evidence. That’s why your job is at risk... Welcome back to the Tyco world... I am glad that my position was terminated ~3 months ago and I am currently working for a company that has the right management that delivers what they say... Stay safe! PS.
