REALLY!

They just sold a HUGE one. Called Inspire. Maybe you've heard about it. Sold it to Merck.

With that free cash now they can go buy another asset. But that has nothing to do with B&L.

WP is going to sell B&L. Bet your life on it.

In the mean time, learn to spell "acquire". Must be another dumb ass, illiterate, kool aid drinking manager or probably director at B&L
 






You can imagine that the management is quaking in their boots. The NJ offices will be history and all the folks in them will be chased into the woods around them. Any way you slice this thing the management infrastructure is gone. The guys on the very top will be well rewarded (as per their employment contracts with WP); everyone else in management, not so good. Fred and his cronies have been incentivised. That is what will drive this sale. The rest of those folks will just "white knuckle" their desks until the last day.

I agree. Look who's captain of the ship: Freddie Hasaan. He's considered to be a rockstar pharmaceutical executive linked to the SALE of companies...he's not know to be a turnaround guy who gets companies back on their feet. A sale is eminent. Fred is just busy lining up the ducks to dress the company up for a sale. There's a reason why he is one of the top paid phama executives in the world (and it's not because he turns a struggling company around and makes it profitable over time). If you think B+L will not be sold in some way, shape, or form, then you are living in denial.
 
















































This rumor is dead. Ista took a nose dive last week after their earnings call. Sales are down and pipeline is busted. Investors are jumping ship and stock was down 40% in 3 days. Maybe WP will buy them soon.
 






totally agree ISTA doesn't have the $$ for it now...and who wants them, nothing in the pipeline, dry eye was terrible didn't separate from placebo, 165 reps to sell 2 drugs, 1 of which has gone generic and I have heard the generic is doing very well. Doc's will rx the generic or drop an NSAID all together to keep patients happy, and keep referrals! ISTA will be gone soon!
 






Believe it or not, this avenue is still alive. WP is so desperate to dump the pharma business they are in the process of formulating a deal to get us off the books and shed this part of the business. It looks like there are absolutely no other takers and none to come with our meager embarassing pipeline.

First, I do not know if deal is still alive but I know both companies are desperate. I know that talks fell through because Fred took a hard line on the asking price. Ista may have come back to the table out of desperation. I will see who all I can speak to at ISTA. Note: I called it before the Platinum club trip. Something is going to be announced soon because this management knows they will NEVER hit the sales goals WP has set for them. 127M for the steroids ..... Nah. WP is desperate to sale, management is desperate for new owners so they can start their con game all over again and hang onto a job a bit longer AND ISTA is desperate for products (they do have some cash). We are 2 weeks out from end of Platinum trip. Something is going to go down.
