my Jan 2014 $475 puts went from $18.50 to $92.50 yesterday, netting me a cool $180k. sold 1/4 of my position and the rest will be all profits. this stock will close below $350 by the time they expire.

so...you held over $4M in put options on a stock that has traditionally ripped on earnings. REALLY? So, $4M with 100% exposure...right. If thats true you are really really dumb.

Your math skills need a lot of work.

I bought puts with a strike price of $425. They cost less than $5 per contract when the stock was above $560. I bought them as soon as the OBGYN comments were made. Now that the stock price is $65 below the strike price, they are worth around $80 as they still have plenty of time value. My 50k investment has made me over 500k...AND COUNTING!
