Is VWR going through another re-org?

Or is this just a rumor with in the industry?

We have heard of management changes and layoffs but would like to know if this is good or bad for the company. VWR has been known for a great company culture but that seems to have changed significantly in 2013.

Any anonymous insight is welcome.

That is true and VWR has been in downward spiral for a couple of year. Since Matt M departed, the culture has disappeared faster than revenue because of high turnover.

Big and small competitor are taking business from VWR left and right and there is such high turnover the place is in a free fall internally. The board will have to make major change soon and will need to clean house (top down) to have any shot of turning this company around.

VWR is in serious trouble today.

There may a few divisions in the company that are struggling but most are fairly healthy and have a positive culture.

Most of the negativity we're hearing about in the recruiting world seems to come from their healthcare division which has new management that doesn't know the market.

They're not a healthcare company though and there are only about 30 people that sell primarily into the reference lab market so don't judge a 6,000 employee company by one bad hire in their healthcare management team. It's small and a revolving door that will probably change again anyway. It's also a tiny piece of a giant company where people tend to stay for a long time.

We can't retain talent, sales reps good and bad turnover all the time! Also we have good RM's and director level talent leave on their own. You just don't see turnover like this with our competition.

ASM was interesting this year, heard about a lot of hook ups!
