Is AGN buying Shire?

This is completely false! Where are you people getting this information? Unless something has changed in the last 6 months - Abbie is a great company to work for. They are a very autonomous sales force and are not micromanaged in the least. I am not exactly sure how the porfolio would fit into Shires but on from a sales perspective we have similar direction.

Abbie.........Normal?

It's pretty clear that you haven't talked to any AbbVie sales reps in the last 3 years. Why don't you call one of them up to ask about how "autonomous" they feel these days? If you think multiple trackers, pre-call sheets before manager field days and metrics = autonomy then you're right. They are autonomous. Good luck if AbbVie buys us....I would be outta here!!

How is this any different then shire? 2 day ride alongs every 4 weeks, multiple trackers, coaching reports, etc. to fill out before the ride alongs. its redundant. It is as if the RD's expect anything to drastically change in 4 weeks. As if you have magically accomplished a competency in 4 weeks. A waste of time.

Take it from a Allergan employee that came from a Merger, it was a breath of fresh air! You will always have haters in any company but in general people at Allergan are very happy.

Thank you! It's good to hear something positive. I thought Allergan was out of the question though? Is there still a possibility?

Nope--Allergan is out because they too have Goldman Sachs representing them and they would need shareholder approval which is unlikely since some shareholders are pushing for Valeant merger.
