Is Abbvie IT Department Hiring ?

I'm looking for work..Was let go from Hospira when WiPRO took our contract in 2006
Thanks

Abbvie is always hiring contract programmers. It's a foot in the door and can turn into full time employment as an Abbvie employee. We have been extremely busy and under staffed. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Ha ha ha! The worst Commercial IT dept indeed. I'm so glad I dumped their asses and left the firm after I got my top MBA done!! There is a lot of fat in IT that needs to be trimmed at director and VP level. Friends are hiring friends. Is Bill Chase blind or what? The market wants increased EPS and IT is a great place to squeeze EPS from. This firm does not need IT! Start with Commercial IT and its PMO baffoons, extend to finance IT, the former GPO IT and beyond.

Never seen an IT group follow its own agenda so much. Detached from the business implementing systems that are not fit for purpose with big promises. Cut and outsource

The problem is they outsourced the majority of working people and have a legion of senior management. There are so many directors and Vice Presidents that it is not even funny. In Abbvie the question is how many VPs it takes to change a light bulb?

Seems a VP or senior manager got offended by the comments on senior management redundancy at AbbVie. That's understandable, many of these bafoons make a crap load of money without producing that much value. Beyond EPS, the market is concerned about Humira. We will see now how good those geniuses VPs are in defending the brand against biosimilar incursion. Amgen knows the game, lets see what legal magic Laura can deliver keeping them at distance. Meanwhile, the stock is at $55 and highly volatile, the high schooler-cancer striken 62 year old CEO enjoys his remaining life with his 34 year old soft porn/model wife Chantel Gia P. after goofing the Shire deal, totally fucking up HVC and paying too much for Pharmacyclics. While you work your asses off, Ricky (and the boys) makes big bucks, travels the world with Chantel and owns multi million dollar property with his young trophy chick on Chicago's Trump Tower.

That's AbbVie!

On the positive side, things at AbbVie are better than on the Abbott side. I have a feeling the market is oversestimating the impact on Humira and does not positively impact the stock demand and value as much as investors like me want to. Eventually, Humira sales won't be as much impacted from biosimilars as currently believed mainly because Humira is a strong brand and EPS is consistently improving. I think AbbVie will be in a much better place upon Gonzales retiring when someone educated in science and business takes over. With the new vision on future direction in place, someone who can execute would be ideal. Who is the new guy that is rumored to be groomed as CEO?

I'm the guy who left IT and AbbVie (worked for years in Lake County) not because AbbVie is a horrible place (it is not; the marketing and sales folks are WONDERFUL) but because Commercial IT SUCKS offering no transition opportunities to the business side for top MBAs like me. In my experience working there, IT leadership and below does not understand business: marketing, branding, sales, finance, strategy. They are not innovators as they claim to be. However some exceptions exist. Overall, IT wastes money (= lower EBITDA), just ask the sales reps. TRIM DOWN AND OUTSOURCE IT!

I got news for you......Parts of the IT department are already integrating e-detailing. You reps will be dinosaurs soon Just like AOL and VHS. We will establish Abbvie brand awareness, increase familiarity, and facilitate sales, using remote marketing that does NOT require a face-to-face meeting.Reps are a FKn waste of $$$ and physicians consider you a nuisance !

Face the facts NO ACCESS = NO JOB !!!!!

And AbbVie Commercial IT will deliver all that? I'm not worried. Maybe IT will also deliver a brand strategy to go handy with their digital strategy? Outsource the IT jokers!
