No, but due to their expected growth into other areas, it seems like there is potential there. After reading the ad for the B'more area, it sounds as if the area sales manager is more of a lead generator for the clinical rep. Is this accurate?

thanks for the information, sounds like ASM is a pretty tough gig but can be worth it if you bust your butt. Do you have any experience in this position?

Totally depends on the area and how well you can play the corporate game. TYpically you miss 1-2 quarters and you are toast. Long sales cycle and some areas are not as open to this technology as others. Some ASM's used to make $500k++++ more like a 200k+ job now. Tough tough job. Not something you would go into for the long haul.

Expansion. Every time they sell a robot they need clinicals to support the cases and sell the instruments. When you're in the OR all day they only want you to cover 4-6 hospitals.

I wouldn't leave a good job for this company unless you are intersted in working 15+ hours a day and working in a draconian managed environment. Do the math, the $'s/hr don't pencil out. The hayday of making big $ with them is over. You should have been with them 3 years ago.

I just got a call for a position in NJ/Philly for a Clinical Specialist. anyone have any information on this company and job? They are selling this a a $180-200k position is this true can anyone verify?
