Interviews in Florida

Do you want a job or not? If you dont, then dont come, you shit

OMG!! This is perfect. Beautiful. This exactly illustrates the mentality of MDL and management. The above post should be copied and pasted on all job boards.

Whoever you potential interviewees were...........obviously you made the best decision of your life.

Future interviewers........heed the above post. Read all you can about MDL on CF. Tell your recruiters.

When and where were these interviews to take place. All of them at 5pm? That doesn't make sense. Please explain

Probably a phone interview. Dimwit. The RSMs are usually in the field all day with their reps and I know my RSM does phone interviews after she gets back to her hotel room. Alot of people interviewing also work during the day and it is more convenient to interview after they get off.

Right. Alot people interviewing have jobs. Sometimes good jobs. They leave those jobs to come to MDL ( My Dumb Luck ) just to be let go their first month or within 6. If they are among the very few who stay past that.........99% of those people are hating life. Looking for the quickest exit. Some won't put down they ever worked at MDL.

So what time slot did you take? After seeing everything are you likely to take the job if offered?

Can't say for obvious reasons. but need a job, Why would they interview people so late?

Please.......before seriously considering taking this job.......read many of the posts on cafepharma about mdl. read about all the people who wished they would have listened to others. Learn from their experience.

taking this job should only be your resort and continue interviewing after you start working and then get the hell out.

Whats the story with the car expense. it is .34 cents a mile, right? Can you also expense your gas? Some people say yes some say no. If i have to pay my own gas , this job is for sure NOT worth it. $50 a week in gas expense is $200 a month.
If I drive 300 miles for the week, the company would give me $102. Take away 50 gas, then its $50 a week for my car. Now I have to pay for maintence, depreciation, higher insurance and car payment. I would be losing money on this part.

This is excellent advice and exactly what I did! I needed a paycheck, and I had inside information on how MDL/VT operate so I took the job and just kept interviewing. Knowing that working here was temporary and on my terms I was actually amused at how bizarre this company is.

Prior to attending training my Manager spent 1/2 an hour on the phone with me coaching me on how to act in training, no side talking ever!, and when VT is in the back of the room on the "phone" she is still watching who pulls their phone out, not taking notes, talking etc...she actually warned me that people have been fired for this behavior in training.
