Interviewed today....Reading these other posts...should I run for the hills?

You are right, be very concerned. Its a very bad place to work unless you are fucking homeless or something. Go ahead and compare to other companies, ask around. Terrible corporate enviroment. Like throw up sick to your gut BS from a loser DM daily. Be careful.

Depends on what you're looking for. It's a company that condones unethical behavior, turns its head the other way when people are mistreated and ignores these problems. If you want to go to work somewhere where you can get away with damn near anything (most other drug reps have no respect for Forest reps) this could be the place for you. You could go there knowing you're gonna use them till something better comes along.

Buahahahahahahaha! This is so true. I badly needed a job and had no idea I would be in this type of environment. If you find yourself asking "how bad can it really be"?... Just know its baaaaaad. If you need a job to feed your family, take it. Then look for something else stat.

This is a serious post. I am a former Forest employee. Go with your instincts. They are always right. If you are asking that question, you already have your answer. I regret taking a job with Forest. I had a lot of sales experience too. I am not a 22 year old. I had my reservations when I accepted the job with Forest. The Forest name is now a blemish on my resume. Forest is not a happy place to be. My advise - run and don't look back.

I came to these boards to get info about the companies. I had interviewed at 2 of them. But I can see that this is a magnet for unhappy, negative people. Once in awhile, someone helpful will answer a question with what seems to be legit information. Otherwise, this looks to be full of people who are hanging around here, feeling sorry for themselves, verbally abusing everyone they come into contact with.

I say, you're about as happy as you want to be (but I don't think I was the first to say it).
Right now, a job's a job. It pays the bills until I find something better, if that be the case.

give it 2 or 3 months at this crapper and you'll be right here with everyone else, crying yourself to sleep at night, okay sweetie pie

Yes, this is a forum that primarily exposes the most unhappy and often (no, of course not always) most unfairly treated representatives. As one wrote, there is also often very accurate insight and information posted. I am not saying that it's a dream come true to work here, but compared to similar opportunities, it's not significantly worse or better. The DM, RD, and your partners are the wild card. You could luck out, get a decent deal, or be bent over almost all the time. There are no guarantees. Things change all the time. I couldn't even count how many managers and partners I have had. Others have had little to no change. Ultimately, you can't over think your decision. Make a decision, pull the trigger, and don't look back.

A job is a job; not here. The culture is completely F'ed up and they could care less about you. You have been warned.

You probably didnt do enough dinner programs or make 11 calls a day, or do two lunches in one day!! This is the way to success at forest. And dont forget to kiss the DM 's ass every time they come with a real stupid idea such as seeing docs on saturday or going to the office every day for one to two weeks straight or doing 2 dinner s week.
