You dumb shits. Pfizer made a deal to support the healthcare bill because they would make LOTS OF MONEY from it. That's the only reason. It wouldn't have mattered if the deal was with Satan himself - it if would make us money we'd sign on!!!!

No dumbass. ObaMao intends on taking down all of private pharma and put all control of drug development in the government's hands, i.e. public institutions.

Pfizer and phrma were making a deal with the real satan just to stay alive. Yes, Kindler is a pos lefty and was looking out for his own pockets and helping his Dear Leader destroy America, but it was mainly for self preservation so he could profit more for himself. Until he got effectively fired, his deals with the devil were working out quite well.

Those who know policy know that no deal struck with the Adminstration (that is, any Adminstration), or with Congress, will last longer than a single Congressional session (2 years). This is a well understood universal truth.

Given that JK/SS/SB have betrayed the Republicans, it is just a matter of time (less than a year, I bet) before importation, Medicaid rates applying to the dual eligibles, etc., come back onto the congressional front burner. This time, we have no allies to protect us and we will hit hard. This fate was foretold by the Policy folks who were fired by JK/SS/SB for their dissenting view that supporting Obmacare was foolish and would backfire.

This is what happens when lunatics are allowed to run the asylum.

All true, but when people with personal agenda's that trump the goals of the company are put in leadership positions, such as Sussman and JK, common sense goes out the window. Why Ian did not immediately cut Susman loose and try to distance Pfizer from their political agenda's is beyond me

I am very surprised that she hasn't been Ousted. She is a distraction and a negative cloud on this company.
