Intercept

What are the interviews like? What experience are they looking for? What questions are they asking?

Intercept is just another pharmaceutical, bull crap, corporate joke of a company.

find something better to do with your life than work for an organization like this, that doesn't appreciate its employees.

Not sure. I went to Dallas - was told 2 weeks. Got an email from HR a week ago that no decisions have been made. Same job is now reposted under Syneos. Wtf

Very unprofessional recruiting process. They don’t have their ducks in order but they expect their sales people to perform miracles? No longer interested in this company.

I received a call today from either a recruiter or manager (couldn’t tell from the VM). Can any current employee provide any background on what this company is like to work for? The new indications for the drug seem to be a bigger market than the current indication. Salary, stock, bonus, culture are all questions I have. Any honest feedback would be appreciated!

I've been there and I can tell you what it means. When they tell you no decisions have been made it means they have chosen someone else and an offer has been made CONTINGENT on that person passing a background check. Those background checks typically take 2 weeks. If the chosen candidate does not pass the background check then they may make you an offer. Again, I've been that person hanging on. I'm sorry.

It’s disappointing to hear how the culture is... starting to feel like that’s the norm. I’m interviewing in Dallas.. can anyone share tips on the interview process? The recruiter mentioned a case study, but it’s not on the product. Any tips would be very appreciated! TIA

Heaven help us all if this companies toxic culture is the norm. I get the industry as a whole is becoming less attractive, however, I feel strongly that there is no culture where it should be acceptable to be purposefully deceived and led by fear and intimidation. My tip would be not to care at all about preparing for their dog and pony show but to instead take the time to speak with current and former long term employees. Look at how many have left and at all levels from C on down.

Fuck these big pharma retreats and their panel interviews and case studies. Stop wasting our time. If you want me on the team, make an offer. Otherwise, piss off.

Nearly all of the original field employees (managers and TBM’s) have left, while upper management has remained the same. What more would you like to know?

I have had several former co-workers leave the company I have been with for many years go over to Intercept and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM told me it was beyond miserable and the last one left a few months ago. They all left and every one of them hated it. Just sayin......

Has anyone gotten a offer that interviewed in Dallas a few weeks ago?

sounds like everyone being told no final determinations have been made. Haven’t heard one person say they got a offer.

Exactly
I went to Dallas on 10/30, was told no decisions yet. Don't have much faith in this process - haven't heard of one offer, but yet jobs are still posted and also reposted with Syneos? Crazy. Anyone get an offer?

Yep, if the timeline has changed fine. If I wasnt chosen, fine too. But notify us. Cant believe you can fly all these people in for interviews and then go radio silent for weeks at a time.
