Injectafer Sales Force... Here We Go Again!

Hi, current INJ rep, I get paid on contracts I have nothing to do with. In my area contracts are good so making tons of IC. My opinion? Thanks IC and DSI, this is the best part time gig ever

no real sales rep works in this industry, if you could actually sell you’d go to devices where the real dough is, 30K in IC? Great sales people can do 250K or 300K, easily

Spoken like someone who's never been on the device side. You can bust your hump and have a MISERABLE work/life balance in device for 225 a year, stress, failing marriage, etc. Or you can find a Pharma gig that will pay you 150+ base with another 40K in bonus and enjoy being home at 5pm every day instead of being on call or in a case.

nonsense you’re like every spoiled rep, want the best but not willing to work. How do you work a full day and be home by 5? All your customers neighbors? You don’t even work a full day. I have great benefits and run my own business and 300K plus is routine. I never worry about IC I either sold it or I didn’t so I control my destiny and income. it’s called sacrifice and hard work and I manage with my family just fine. Fat and lazy Pharma rep

I usually don't comment here, but I can tell you with great certainty that everything you just said is incorrect. Props to you for finding the sweet spot, but for every rep routinely making 300K, there's 40-50 people fighting just to hit their number by the end of the year, scraping trying to throw together deals to make 200-250. But kudos to you

sure there are, I agree and it’s people like you and prior poster. don’t want to work hard but want to make lots of money. Don’t want to sacrifice but you’re all happy to complain. Success and leadership requires sacrifice, Pharma reps are by and large lazy

don’t we feel special! You commented that’s pretty exciting and you used the word kudos. Must be a super big day for you, Mom take you to Chuckie Cheese?

It’s because the INJ sales force is a mix of good & subpar legacy AR reps, Good & subpar DSI hospital reps, and a bunch of former Movantik reps who have no business claiming “oncology” on their resume. Add that to the fact that we sell a product that doesn’t require real clinical expertise. The sales force is watered down.

there are some strong reps on this team, but there’s a lot of people who are still struggling with the basics of buy & bill in this space. Glad to have a job currently, but hoh couldn’t pay me enough to be a DM here.
