Why not take the territories down to 1 rep, pay more and keep reps. I am thinking reps are interviewing , hold on to the reps you want to keep. One rep can cover instead of 2-3 in towns divided.

Sounds like somebody trying to lobby to keep a job. Funny thing is in most split cities the difference between good or bad is like 5-15 Rx's,s for the quarter. How insane an argument do you want to make on that performance difference!
