IHD......now what?

Why would you take a position in IHD? Salary varies depending on how much you make now (which will be verified, so don't lie) and how good of a negotiator you are.

Ranexa goes generic in early 2019 so the future is uncertain. Gilead is pretty good for a pharma gig but Ranexa is 10+ years old and you will have a RD up your ass, demanding that you increase sales with no new data, no new value adds. Reps are fired or managed out all the time for poor performance. By far the worst division at a good company. The stock purchasing plan has been neutered and the stock is tanking. The reasons to stay are evaporating, so I ask you, "Do you really need a gig THAT bad?"

This is the best and most honest review of what it is like to work in the division.

Thanks for your honest feedback. No, I don't need a job that badly. I'll pass on this one. Good luck to you all.

Thank you thank you. I too am searching and saw one of these openings. Is there no future here ? What do currents reps think? Layoff end of next year ? Thanks again.

-IHD has no new data.
-No pipeline.
-Inflated salesforce.
-Over bearing managers
-Super over bearing RDs
- a product that goes generic in 18 months.
-No future corporate investment
-Doctors who have been called on for 10 years which means they've been detailed over 300 times even before you step through the door.
- 75% of the reps are an embarrassment based on sheer meaningless over-inflated titles, and egos. They all live in the past. Not to mention you'll constantly be asking yourself how they got the same job as you, which will only spiral your depression down further.
- >60% of the reps easily qualify for Medicare.

It's a sinking ship.....ya know what.....it's already sunk. Hope you can hold your breath for a while.

Perfect analysis. I'm interviewing now to get out of here. Micromanagement at its worst

Yes, I read all the previous reviews on how terrible it is in IHD, but I still have to ask...can you share any info on the open Queens, NY territory? Manager, etc. thank you.

I guess your question will be answered on Monday. What a disappointing way to end the CV market. Invest $$$ for 10+ years only to walk away letting all the hard work just end.

It does stink, but at least we'all have jobs, it was a great run and different point throughout the years, we actually seemed like we wanted to be a player in Cardio.
Now we hold on for 12 months till we get the GI or RA drug.

What a sorry display. I actually felt bad for them while they were on stage.

It's pretty clear that only a very few "top performers" will land on their feet with a position after LOE - so much for loyalty.

Of course, that is if any of the NASH compounds or filgotinib ever make it to the market, which isn't a slam dunk by any means.

Onc is a joke until further notice.

I'm a cardio rep in my prime. I guess it's time to sell some stock and move on. I can't believe so many of my colleagues think they found the "golden ticket."

The sad part is that they have a pretty awesome CV sales/marketing team and they are flushing it down the toilet. What a waste!
