The part that sucks is that if you get displaced and have been here 1-2 years you basically get only a few months severance. Hiring this team and then deciding they want to transform a short time later - displacing these same folks with a few months severance pay is negligent.
GNE needs to step up and address this. Enhance the severance package across the board.
Also I love how the same leadership that got is in this situation are now self-righteously leading the transformation charge.
They ought to be among the first "transformed" out of a job.
