If it was Shire wouldn’t have bought a dozen companies that have nothing to do with neuro. Yes Shire sucks but NBU is no longer top dog here. It’s frustrating to the people who left pharma and got into rare disease, are now back in pharma because of acquisitions.
One of the reasons rare disease companies are successful is the culture they create for their employees. Shire’s culture is terrible. Let’s hope Takeda’s is better.
