If Olympus was such a great company, why so many open positions?

Olympus is filling jobs as fast as they are posting the jobs in an effort led by top management to make things appear to the outside world as though things are healthy internally when in reality its like stage four cancer at OCA. This place is something else man.

WOW!

Two more resignations today at Olympus.
Is it just high level managers in Energy and no sales reps?
Wow, Energy is kicking some serious tail in the marketplace.
I'm certain Medtronic is quivering.

I just cringe when I see all of these posts. Management tries to save face, but in reality down on planet earth, hundreds if not thousands of people are logging in on CP here chiming in on how disgusting of a company Olympus Corporation of America is. They keep responding as if one person is behind all of this. Like they have only wronged one person out of the 7,500 people who have gotten fired or resigned from this swamp.
Its almost as if top management suffers from sociopathic and narcissistic personality disorders combined together. Dwindling marketshare is not a surprise in an environment like this. I guess they keep acting as though its one person because if it was many they might have to admit responsibility and actually do something about it. Much like an alcoholic that keeps drinking and drinking....

Olympus is in a lot of trouble.
They are shutting Energy down.
ENT is in shambles.
SE is getting blow out by Stryker.
Urology is led by the captain that sunk the Exxon Valdez.
GI’s platform is an old whore.
Can someone tell me why anyone should stay working for Olympus?

This place blows!

Olympus is hiding a shitload of resignations, all listed today under their bullshit alias Evergreen Requisition!
Looks like all these folks are either already resigned or on a plan.
If you haven’t started getting a exit plan together, now is the time!
Get out now. They are about to fire everyone.

Does this sound like a company that has cash?
Olympus Japan is flat broke and borrowing money like crazy.
This is why they could give a shit about OCA sales reps. They are all about to lose their jobs over in Japan.

Has anyone noticed that management has completely stopped responding? I think they might have been mandated to stay off CP, as to not incite more of a backlash. Not only do RVP's not have any say in what happens at OCA, now they aren't aloud to log onto CP either. You guys are paper pushing slaveboys. HAHAHA

Four more resignations in the past two days. Two from SE, and one from GI.
Watch how many GI resignations get listed in the next 45 days.
This is what happens when you treat your sales reps like crap. They leave and take their skill and relationships with them. You can't just bring an Enterprise Rental Car rep into Olympus and think they will make an impact.
